About viridis

Vanessa Farquharson founded viridis late 2019 to collaborate on strategic initiatives with people who share a vision for sustainable growth in the tourism and travel sector. 
​
After early post-college years in customer service roles with Kuoni Travel and American Express, Vanessa built a strategic brand marketing career grounded in prioritising understanding the customers' needs. 
 
With a proven track record of identifying and leading successful business growth initiatives for Tourism New Zealand, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn, as well as four years with publisher BBC.com, the time was right to start a consultancy. 

We are now into our sixth year of working with client leadership teams and collaborating with PR, creative and media specialists on a varied multitude of projects. From redefining target audiences, with the aim of sustainably managing visitors, to informing airport lounge design briefs post pandemic, it's been a fascinating time to step into consultant shoes. As our scope has broadened, we are getting involved in wider corporate communications strategy, shaping company culture, and facilitating stronger company collaboration.​
